The largely rundown brownfield site is a short walk from Hove station, which has excellent links to London, and is situated nearby the many shops, museums, galleries and parks in central Hove. Hove is a vibrant UK seaside town well-known for its arts scene and has recently benefited from significant regeneration, particularly on the seafront. The town is a desirable retirement location but also has a local demographic of educated young professionals.
Daniel Austin, CEO of ASK, said: “This is a fantastic site in an area seeing huge growth and regeneration. As the trend for moving out of London continues, I expect this will be a highly successful development. We were delighted to co-lend with OakNorth again.”
Hemesh Patel, Director of Property Finance at OakNorth Bank, said:
“We’re delighted to assist with financing this development and to co-lend with ASK. We have a real hunger to support the development of good quality care facilities for the ageing UK population, and it’s clear that this scheme has been well designed to appeal to the right demographics.”
