Markets have faced huge volatility for the last 5-10 years, making it crucial to have a dynamic business strategy that allows us to respond to downturns in cycle. The strategy to focus on smaller loans during 2024 meant we could fund entirely with our own capital rather than having to secure back leverage and create a more complex capital stack. The beginning of 2025 is looking much better for mid-market loans.
